Look of the Day: LCM Spring/Summer 2015 Day 2

LCMss15lookday2

Today I mixed a bit of work with a bit of menswear collections, which was a good way to start a Monday. The British weather wasn't quite on our side today either, a bit of chilly wind and grey skies made me go for some more layering.
With a white Uniqlo Oxford shirt and black Acne jeans as a base, I added a bit of colour with my L'Estrange Liberty Black Paisley hoodie and my U Adolfo Dominguez parka. Topping it off, of course, were my powder blue desert boots by Clarks (perfect also for walking around a lot) and my starred Gant socks.
Stay tuned for the last of my London looks and a recap of my favourite shows!

I'm not Frank: What I Wore at the London Collections Men SS14

ImnotfrankLCMss14

During the last London Collections: Men I ran into photographer superstar Jonathan Daniel Pryce outside the Hentschman presentation in Covent Garden. I was lucky enough to get photographed by him in my outfit of the day, which has recently been published on the Duchamp blog.

I'm wearing: U Adolfo Domínguez parka, +J beige blazer, Uniqlo shirt, ASOS anchor belt, Acne jeans, Tod's No_Code shoes, J. Crew iPhone case and Baume & Mercier watch.

My first (proper) LFW

Firstly, let me apologise for my long absence. In my defence I have to say I haven't had much time to blog as I was only in London for a few days after I came back from Madrid and then I went for a week-trip around Tuscany with my best mate. And upon return from my Italian getaway I immersed myself in London Fashion Week. I have been incredibly late in applying for the menswear shows but I'll do my best to report about them whether I go to the show or not. In the meantime, I'll leave you with my first three ensembles so you can let me know what you think.

Thinking 70's

I officially kicked off my FW10 shopping a couple of days ago. I am buying half thinking of London fashion week and half of what I'd like to wear next season. As I am currently watching an average of 6 episode of Man Men per day I feel overly inclined to buy suits, shirts and ties but I'm refraining from buying too many as I know there'll be more jeans than I'd like to think right now. And so I bought a paisley tie (By U Adolfo Domínguez) that in my head is Tom Ford instead and that can spice up a white shirt or look perfectly sartorial with a blue striped shirt. I had been meaning to get a pair of purple desert boots for ages but thought getting the fifth pair of shoes of the kind might have been to much. So I went for this loafers (CH by Carolina Herrera) that are perfect with shorts in the summer and with colourful socks in the winter.
