How to do Smart Casual in the Summer, by Chris Pine

SmartCasualChrisPine

Chris Pine is one of the few celebrities who understands that when it comes to being stylish the key is in simplicity and attention to detail. After the more dressed up hits we saw during his 'Star Trek' press tour this latest look is very refreshing. The actor nailed the so-called 'smart casual' at a recent press conference, where he wore a light beige knit jumper as a top. He tucked it into his dark cropped slim chinos and a nice pair of brown leather lace-up shoes – it's the footwear that throws the look more towards smart. A pair of New Balance or Vans sneakers would have given it a cool feel but a much more dressed-down one.
This is a great outfit idea for a day when you want your look to translate nicely from day to evening-wear. And these are a few options of similar items currently available online:

How to Wear a Camo Blazer, by Eric Daman

EricDamanCamo

This past weekend Eric Daman appeared as a guest judge on the latest episode of Project Runway. If his name doesn't ring any bells, his work will. Daman is the talented stylist and costume designer behind Gossip Girl – the genius behind Chuck Bass' wardrobe.
He is known for his eccentric style - particularly the Jack Sparrow-esque accessorising. But if you look past the extravagance, you will find really on-point looks like the one he wore on the TV show. This is possibly the best way to wear a camouflage blazer. Paired with a classic blue oxford shirt you add a preppy classic touch, which translates the camo print from street-wear territory to tailoring refinement. Worn with a pair of also muted navy chinos and perhaps a pair of beige suede brogues it becomes the perfect look for a cool night out if what you're looking for is to make a statement without being loud.

He's Fly: Zac Efron

I've been tracking Zac Efron's style for a while and feeling pretty odd about it. The guy was someone who, for a while, pretty much epitomised everything I didn't want to be. But not the High School Musical days are gone and he's turned into a cool guy with a really good looking girlfriend and a GQ-approved wardrobe. I don't remember anyone looking good in a short-sleeved shirt (1) but Zac rocked it with a kind of safari design, a slim fit and some chinos. He really knows how to buy chinos is every colour. They're never too slim or too loose (2), always perfect and in shades most of us don't own. He is also (together with David Beckham) the king of the airport look. He does 'casual Americana' like a pro (3) but he also gets away with more dressed up versions like the awesome one of the denim shirt and the black tie (4) —and the collar touch was just superb.
