The Best Dressed Guys at GQ's Men of the Year 2013

GQ Men of the Year 2013

This week GQ celebrated their annual 'Men of the Year' awards. If there was ever a chance for celebrities to make an effort and try something more out of the box this is a great chance for it. Funnily enough, the cover guys for the issue of GQ commemorating the Men of the Year were the most boringly dressed at the awards. The younger newcomers (and Pharrell) were the ones who stood out from the crowd, be it for their choice of colour or texture, for the accessorising or for the excellent contemporary fit. These above and below were my favourites from the night – vote for your favourite on the box below.

Most Stylish of the Week: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and then some

I might or might not have a man crush on Joseph Gordon-Levitt – click here to read his cover piece on American GQ and decide for yourselves.
The fact is that Joe's GQ cover is, hands down, the most stylish thin from this week. I have been a fan of his from the '3rd Rock from the Sun' times and I'm glad he's gone on to make such great films and wear such cool clothes. At some point in the near past – probably when he cut his hair – he became this very sharp but rather hip dresser.
During the last week especially he's been showing off around the globe while promoting his latest film 'The Dark Knight Rises' (I'm watching it today!!). My two highlights from the press tour are his two-piece grey Balenciaga suit from the New York premiere and his 3-piece navy Burberry number from the London premiere – especially the polka dot tie. I'm not sure whether his measurements are bang-on the rack sizes or if all his clothes are tailored to the millimetre. In any case, Bravo!

Is THE Seth Cohen back?

Adam Brody stars in American GQ's latest editorial after laying low for a couple of years after wrapping up The O.C. He is currently promoting "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" with Steve Carell so I am hoping that this is the first of a series of editorials and red carpet appearances.
And I say this because Seth Cohen, the character he played was in The O.C., gave me hope that there was a place in this world for a skinny, awkward yet fashionable boy. He's certainly one of the biggest icons of my generation.
