After the last few season's of menswear shows at London Fashion Weeks I knew that it wouldn't be too long before people realised that having only one day after the womenswear shows wouldn't be enough. London's menswear has always been renowned around the world and now it is again because the array of designers bring the best from tailoring and the country's street style influence.
This is exactly the reason why I have been so fascinated with the shows for the last couple of years. So it is so refreshing that from June the British Fashion Council will hold London Collections: Men. What will effectively be London's menswear fashion week will add to the calendar kicking it off, taking this privilege from Pitti in Florence.
I am extremely excited to see who else is added to the schedule and which special projects, collaborations and unforgettable shows will spring out of it.
