Fear of God dresses Justin Bieber for the 'Purpose' Tour

Whether you choose to accept it or not Justin Bieber has been trendsetting ever since his comeback last year. His choice of oversized top silhouettes and super ripped slim jeans might not be for everyone but it has undeniably propelled brands and trends from the so-called 'streetwear luxe' onto mainstream fashion. And so Bieber has quickly become somewhat of a style icon thanks to his interesting combinations of Saint Laurent, Off White, Supreme, Undercover and Fear of God. It's this last one that Bieber and his stylist Karla Welch seem to favour over any other so it was only natural Fear of God would dress Justin for his 'Purpose' tour, which kicked off in Seattle last Wednesday.

If, like me, you're a fan of Fear of God you will recognise some of their most signature pieces like the ripped Selvedge jeans, the denim raglan trucker jacket or the long and short sleeve version of their flannel shirt. These are paired with a great selection of some of the best pieces from the brand's fourth collection as well as some customised and new pieces made for the tour.
Fear of God footwear is coming up soon but in the meantime Bieber had to do without. He opted for the Adidas Ultra Boost and the Yeezy Boost 350's in black and oxford tan.

Now, this might seem like an odd suggestion from a fashion/style blog but I would advice you to keep an eye out for Bieber's tour merchandise, which is heavily influenced by Fear of God and Vetements, the other big name of streetwear luxe at the moment. If you don't mind sporting 'Bieber' or 'Purpose' across your chest some of these pieces would actually look quite cool mixed with your existing wardrobe. You can always say it's ironic.

UNIQLO and Lemaire SS16

It's been a while since I got excited about a designer's collaboration with a high street retailer. It looks like only UNIQLO refined the recipe for success after their hit-after-hit run with Jil Sander, which explains the instant success of the collaboration launched with Lemaire for the FW15 season.
The Japanese retail giant announced that the partnership will continue for the forthcoming SS16 season with the new UNIQLO and Lemaire collection launching exclusively online on March 4th and worldwide in stores on March 18th.

The new collection brings together two of my favourite style influences – the 60's and sportswear. The French brand continues to combine their clean and streamlined silhouettes with sportswear detailing by playing with buttons, pockets and volume. The colour palette – faded ginger, mahogany, and the brand's signature optic white, navy and khaki – touches on the preppy side of the 60's and sits so well with the clean lines of the tailored pieces.

You can check out a preview of the collection online here.

Globe-Trotter: The only way to travel (with luggage)

A suitcase isn't just a way to transport your personal belongings from A to B, it reflects the kind of man that you are. Just like it happens with watches and shoes, the style and condition of your travel companion says more about yourself than you think. This is why choosing the right kind suitcase is essential.

Some might think that Louis Vuitton luggage or Goyard trunks are the way to go. However, they would be wrong. A true self-respecting man would only choose Globe-Trotter. The heritage brand has been producing their unmistakable pieces in the UK since 1932 and was a favourite of Winston Churchill and Queen Elizabeth II and the current choice of Daniel Craig, David Beckham and Eddie Redmayne.
My biggest surprise when I first got up close to a Globe-Trotter case was how light it was. And therein lies the best thing about the brand. Their now iconic travel cases are produced from a sheet of vulcanised fibreboard that is as strong as leather and as light as aluminum. So you get the best of a classic design with the most fantastic functionality.
The brand also offers all kinds of colour combinations for the fibreboard, the leather detailing and the inner lining as well as certain personalisation options. Occasionally, they also offer a more limited run of products like they did with their collaborations with Turnbull & Asser and Missoni and their latest one with James Bond's Spectre collection.

You can get a closer look at Globe-Trotter at their London flagship store on 35 Albemarle Street or shop a selection of their products online at their store or over at Mr Porter.
